Super All Inclusive holiday at Hadrianus Hotel for a few bucks

Turkey, Antalya

Following the article, "Extremely cheap All Inclusive holiday on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey," I would like to talk in more detail about the Hadrianus Hotel in Antalya.

We stayed here for 8 nights and enjoyed the All Inclusive program thoroughly (we enjoyed ourselves so much, that in the end, we extended our stay for 9 more nights). This lovely hotel is definitely worth mentioning.

For the sake of completeness, I will add that we booked our stay for the second half of October 2017, i.e., outside the high season.

For our 8-night All Inclusive stay for two people, we paid a total of 216 EUR (246 USD). For only EUR 13.5 per person per day (approx. 15.6 USD), we have been given a superb service indeed! The standard rate of the Hotel Hadrianus is EUR 27 - 32 per night (31 - 37 USD) for a standard double room with All Inclusive for two people. You can find the best deals on Expedia and Hotels websites.

Due to the very low booking price, we were very skeptical before arriving at the hotel. However, a very positive surprise came at the moment of check-in. Pleasant staff welcomed us with a professional approach and dealt with all formalities in a few minutes (all paperwork was prepared in advance). Another pleasant surprise did wait for long - we were given a beautiful room (about 35 m²) on the top 6th floor with a sea view.

This spacious and bright room was furnished with new-like condition furniture (table, wardrobe, folding armchair, large bed with a comfortable mattress), TV, air conditioning, fridge, safe. In our large bathroom, we found toiletries and a hairdryer. This relatively old-style hotel has undergone a total renovation in recent years, making everything in the room shining with cleanliness and relative innovation. On the balcony overlooking the sea, there are two plastic chairs available for your comfort.

Regular hotel service is included in the room rate, so every day, besides daily cleaning, you will get a new toilet paper, 2 bottles of water and clean towels or linen.

Another equally important part of the accommodation revolves around food and drinks. We were all eager to get into the restaurant for our first dinner. And we were thrilled! The All Inclusive tariff entitles you to the unlimited food consumption (breakfast, late breakfast, lunch, dinner) and drink consumption - alcohol and soft drinks available at the pool bar. At the bar, the All Inclusive system starts at 10 AM and ends at 11 PM.

All meals are served in a self-catering buffet (all you can eat).

A rich breakfast buffet is available for breakfast, which varies slightly every day and counts up to 61 options! You can choose from a wide selection of cereals, marmalades, cheeses, salami, ham, egg, yogurt, fruit, vegetables, vegetable salads, and pancakes. For a quick snack, they offer 5 hot breakfast dishes (e.g., grilled sausages, baked tomatoes, spinach, scrambled eggs, french fries), soup and white Turkish bread. Drinks you may choose from fresh milk, coffee (preso, cappuccino, black coffee), black tea, sweetened beverages and juice from the postmix.

The lunch and evening buffets are similar to each other and change every day. The selection is limited to about 48 to 50 choices consisting of 6 main courses, soups, fruit, vegetables, variations of salads (vegetable, cheese, mayonnaise, potato, pasta), cheeses, legumes, dressings, and sweet cakes and sweets.

In this price range, do not expect any exciting, exotic specialties of the kitchen boss. Most prepared hot meals are made from vegetables, chicken, fish, and pasta. The quality and freshness of the food were always top-notch, and the main menu selection was more than satisfying for us.

Regarding the service of the restaurant, I again don't have any complaints. The waiters collected the dirty dishes from the tables immediately and swiftly refilled the missing food on the buffet tables.

During the whole day, you can stop for a drink by the pool bar at any time. With no limits. Alcoholic selection is limited to freshly brewed Tuborg beer, Raki, vodka, white and red wine. The non-alcoholic choice is traditionally limited to the postmix drinks, coffee, and tea. It may not be an overwhelming selection, but for the money, who would complain (1 beer itself costs 4 EUR in the city).

You can enjoy your drinks on a sun lounger by the pool with a slide, on the hotel's terrace under the parasol, or on the comfortable couch in the lounge area. If you are looking for a beach, you can use the hotel's free shuttle service to the private beach (free beach chairs available).

The nightlife at the hotel and its surroundings is not much to look for. Lara district is a relatively quiet hotel area with no discos and busy bars. In this regard, go to Muratpasa (20-minute drive away) for a more active nightlife. However, surely you will appreciate the two animation evenings with a show of belly dancing and Turkish music organized by the hotel every week.

I would personally recommend this hotel to everyone - to families with children, and to younger or older couples. If you plan to spend a relaxing holiday by the sea, sunbathe on the beach and have an excellent time eating and sipping drinks by the pool, this place is made for you.

I personally think that for an unbeatable price of 18 USD per person per night, this All Inclusive offer of the Hotel Hadrianus is quite surprising. It is shocking to know what quality and quantity of services you will get for a few bucks.

During the last 4 years of traveling, I have visited about hundreds of cheap hotels all over the world, but the hotel Hadrianus absolutely amazed me at this low price level and is a clear winner for me.

If I try to make a subjective evaluation, and if I take into account our rate of 13.5 EUR per person per night, I have to award 4.5 out of 5 stars to the hotel Hadrianus. If I have to mention some negatives, then it would be the slow Wifi.
